Film-faced plywood, also known as phenolic plywood or shuttering plywood, is constructed by coating both sides of plywood sheets with a wear-resistant, waterproof film. The film is typically impregnated with phenol-formaldehyde or melamine resin,. The core material can vary, commonly including birch, poplar, eucalyptus, acacia, or other hardwood . The plywood is bonded with strong adhesives such as WBP, phenolic, or MR glue to ensure durability and stiffness.

High Strength & Stability: The core is made from selected hardwood species, layered with strong adhesives.
