Finger Joint Full Core Marine Board Film Faced Plywood Phenolic Concrete Formwork Panel

Film-faced plywood, also known as phenolic plywood or shuttering plywood, is constructed by coating both sides of plywood sheets with a wear-resistant, waterproof film. The film is typically impregnated with phenol-formaldehyde or melamine resin. The core material can vary, commonly including birch, poplar, eucalyptus, acacia, or combi cores . The plywood is bonded with strong adhesives such as WBP, phenolic, or MR glue to ensure durability and stiffness.

- Durable Film Face: 

Coated with a special phenolic film that is waterproof, weather-resistant, and anti-slip. This ensures a smooth concrete finish and protects the board from moisture and cement.

- High Strength & Stability: 

The core is made from selected hardwood species, layered with strong adhesives. This provides exceptional load-bearing capacity and prevents bending or warping.

- Long Service Life:

Thanks to the robust film coating and high-density core, our plywood can be reused multiple times (depending on the concrete mix and handling).

- Easy Demolding & Smooth Finish: 

It leaves a consistently smooth "architectural finish" on the concrete, reducing or eliminating the need for additional surface leveling.
